8610  Acid Storage Base Cabinet

Bottle Capacity: 30, 2.5 liter or 90, 500 ml.

Acid storage base cabinet constructed of 1" thick plywood, meets or exceeds OSHA requirement for secondary containment. Cabinet is equipped with a leak-proof polypropylene tray top, which can completely contain 3 gallons of spilled liquid. The interior floor and shelf are polypropylene lined. Floor is constructed to act as a liquid tight trough to contain spills. Unit is also equipped with one fixed shelf, wood hinges, polypropylene padlock eye assembly, and nylon construction/assembly fasteners. Cabinet is finished in OSHA blue epoxy, corrosive resistant paint, and features a large "ACID" decal on front in red letters.

8612 Isolation Compartment Insert

Capacity: 5, 2.5 liter.

Polypropylene compartment to accommodate nitric acid and semi-isolate it within cabinet.

Of the wood acid storage cabinets offered, this is the most economical model. Unit is equipped with two fixed polypropylene lined shelves, polypropylene padlock eye assembly, and nylon construction/assembly fasteners, but does not have a toe-kick or top dispensing tray. The cabinet is finished in OSHA blue epoxy, corrosive resistant paint, and features a large, red "ACID" decal on front of the two interlocking doors.

8624 Polyethylene Acid Storage Cabinet

Cabinet constructed of 3/4" high density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic provides for storage of most corrosive chemicals. Cabinet meets OSHA's standard for secondary containment by having a liquid tight welded interior to contain accidental spills, or prevent infiltration from outside. This cabinet can safely store perchloric acid, and interior can be completely rinsed or washed. Door hinge is made of plastic ensuring years of service.
