The Vertex™ Table support frame is constructed of satin black polyester powder coated, 14-gauge steel tubing. The legs are brushed aluminum, and the black polyester coated feet are equipped with adjustable glides. The table standard is equipped with 16 gauge steel modesty panels that enclose the lift mechanism, which is driven by an electric actuator with limit switches to control the stop positions. The unit is provided with a 6 ft. long power cord, and requires a 120v/20amp (standard wall outlet) power source. Maximum lift capacity is 500 lbs., including the top material specified.

Once the instructor has adjusted the table height, the Control Switch Module unplugs and can be stored. Vertex™ is infinitely adjustable between the standard 30” to 41” range; however, if a lesser range of height adjustment is desired, it can be reset at the time of installation. Example: Height adjustment set to the 31” to 36” range. Vertex™ height flexibility allows it to be an excellent ADA compatible unit.

The Vertex™ is equipped with four book bag hooks, rod storage area for two rods and an electric outlet/data port raceway. The raceway includes two electric receptacles and four data outlet mounting plates. Due to the wide variety of options available, data outlets must be supplied by others.

Options include: Wood modesty panels to match casework (as shown in illustrations) are available to attach over steel modesty panels. Wood modesty panels must be specified. The top materials available are epoxy resin, granite or plastic laminate. Top material, and color selection, must be specified.  A table-mounted height control switch is available, but must be specified. Pop-up, tilt-up or pedestal style electric outlets instead of the electric/data raceway. These outlet options must be specified.

Vertex™ can be equipped with lockable casters, if specified.

The Magnetar work center is designed to accommodate both lab and lecture functions while providing ample counter top space for four.  A centralized work center provides access computer, monitor and wired, or remote, keyboard while maximum counter space remains available for lab experiments when required. If specified the work center section of the unit includes a fully rotating monitor enclosure to accomodate up to a 17” diagonal monitor. Metal storage cabine, with pull out shelf, provides ample space for securing CPU, software and printer. CPU and monitor are not included.

The work top is infinitely ajustable from 30” to 36”, allowing the table to be ADA accessible or used by standing students not requiring ADA height compatibility. The top is adjusted by an electric actuator using a key switch in the base cabinet and requires no special tools for adjustment, or locking mechanism, into position.

The ADA compliant sink cabinet is at a fixed height of 34”, and is equipped with two combination cold water and gas fixtures, two GFCI duplex electric receptacles and a 14” x 10” x 5” deep drop-in sink. Specify top material required.
